	09/2009 SHINING BRIGHT FOR SOLARTAC

IGE designed and built the main outdoor sign display for the new Solar Technology Acceleration Center (SolarTAC) in Colorado, the largest test facility for solar technologies in the U.S.

The 14’ signs, developed and designed by IGE and Xcel Energy are a highly visible structure as you enter the Center fully lit by LED technology during the night from the SolarTAC solar energy system. The frame is made out of aluminum and metal and natural finishes of wood and stone.

The Center provides a location for research, demonstrations, testing and validating a broad range of solar technologies at the early commercial or near-commercial stage of development.
